ProgramOur program is designed to help you recognise your barriers and attitude and give you therapeutic exercises to help you work towards enhancing what you already have and letting go of what is not working. Through our lifelong experience and professional knowledge we understand that communication is an interactive approach that starts with the self and ends with the receiver. Barriers in between can blur the process and can stop you from reaching your goals. Barriers can arise from unresolved issues including those from when you were a child, doubting yourself, fear, low self-esteem, etc. Our program will give you the edge to work and live with confidence. Improve your social skills by learning how to manage your behaviour, emotions and how to interact with others. The first session will be the Assessment Phase to ensure the learning you receive will meet your individual need in the shortest time possible with the best results. During the assessment phase we ask clients if they want to improve their social skills at work, home or leisure (or all). Please note that sometimes it can take time to change old habits and therefore you may require further training and/or counselling. This can be discussed after the program is completed. Studies show that it can take up to 15 training sessions to improve communication skills in workshops for couples, to reach the best outcome (source: Couple Therapy in Australia by Shaw E & Crawley J). And if relapse does occur, which is normal, then a refresher course may be necessary. |
